Poems
May 2019
To my refrigerator
Even though you are running
I cannot try to catch you.
You're cold as ice
but that's what I want.
When the electricity is gone
Everything spoils.
Your light goes off
as the door is closed (I think).
I need to gather wide
to keep you full.
Messages stick to you
with memories and reminders.
Funny how we can find meaning
from things not meant to be.
Did you find some of you
in words about an appliance?
