Lying in bed
Tea by my side
Reading a book
Trying to hide

Duvet pulled up to my chin
Keep everyone out
Let nobody in

Unhappy with my body, how I look
One look in the mirror, was all it took
To send me back to my bed for the day
Where colours are not permitted and everything's grey

Tomorrow I will rise
Open my eyes
Feel blessed to I saw another sunrise

But for today I am happy
Just me and my bed
Tea and biscuits by my side keeping me watered and fed
Hey don't worry about me, I'm up and about
Just some days, well you know what I mean
