I need a moment of ignorance.
But the price is one I can't pay.
I need a moment of clarity.
But, it isn't for sale.
I'd like to discard my cards.
But we get what we get, take what is given,
Live on both sides of the spectrum.
So play to the best of your abilities.
One opponent is already down.
wish i wrote this lol. one of my close friends created this from a plethora of old ela warmups. i thought she deserved some recognition because honestly, this poem is art. title is capped on this one because she’d probably beat me up if it weren’t **** -_-.
