Her eyes starves and growls
as she creeps and crawls
down the eerie halls.

There's no morning
there's no night
only a damp fog guards our school from the world of light.

Dressed in black
she appears out of shadows
and allures her prey to her cobweb .
tick - tock, tick - tock
an invisible thread chokes our throats
our screams go unheard.

I stretch out my yearning hands and grasp the air
None escapes from the prison of fear.
"Someone, help me"- I murmur.
The darkness within grins and snares
laughs at me ; my hopes and tears.

Waiting's done.
I say my prayer.
She gropes my neck
I gasp for air.
The death knell whispers,"It's over".
