Cocooned
Red Kite hovers and spies,
A Raven studies a dying lamb,
Sheep graze the grass,
A pheasant enters left looking lost.
I gaze out at this scene
Through sheets of glass.
I am distinct from real nature,
Cocooned by architecture.
