Abundance at some stage tends
to lead to excess, and joy
   diminishes-- only two hands
we have.  The child tires with too many a toy--

  paucity and poverty* does enrich
if our lives are by love liberally endowed
for such the wealthy might eagerly itch
only to regret and sigh for being left out.
