The crowd became more chaotic, many shouts were quite obscene; I'd like to paint a picture, of the Crucifiction scene. ~ On the top of a steep hill, was a place called Calvary; There stood three wooden Crosses, with Jesus in between. ~ Just imagine, if you will, the pain that Christ endured; He was bleeding most profusely, it was dripping onto the dirt. ~ His flesh, it hung in ribbons, from His body, they did beat; They drove two nails into His hands, and one into His feet. ~ His unsightly beard had been pulled, He'd been cursed and spat upon; He endured this for all of Mankind, this One who had done nothing wrong. ~ Could I endure the pain He felt, could I gladly lay down my life; Only one man could have done all this, and His name is Jesus Christ!
