               from the thrift stores
              
                             paint it any colour or batter
                      
                it to kingdom come
                                
                             TRUTH still sees itself as it is
                                    
                ONLY THE TRUTH,
                                      
                       unchanged, dignified, enduring





           That's why it frightens the bejesus out of some people
                  That's why they are agitated, weak and aggressive
                  That's why they are hateful, ignorant and mindless
           That's why they hide and can't operate openly in plain sight
