You darkness,
can you see
the light approach.
It's glittering
glowing glory
outshines your
gloomy face.
The darkness
softly creeping
into my space.
Forgot your seeds
on the bedside
while I'm sleeping.
The inner light
from the other
side of the galaxy
will shine through
to shift your
presence away.
Now i know
you are weak,
your darkness
cannot stand
the light,
even the flicker
makes you
disappear.
Moments ago,
you threatened
for a while
but gave up
your grip
as the glorious
light shines forth.
You can never
plant your seed
in my soul
for the brightness
of it's incandescence
will choke it.
Hidden by the
corners of our
brightness and hope,
there is darkness.
Even within the
depths of our
hopelessness and
darkness there
is always light
within waiting
to shine forth.
