Why dost thou tempt me so?
Doth my protest go unheard?
'Tis thy smile I've come to know
Temptation without a word

Your glances feed my soul
Each day as you walk by
My hunger I can't console
Growing weak as you draw nigh

You feed this fire that burns within
But yet you're out of reach
I watch this blessing turn to sin
A place my heart can't breach

Alas, I turn and look away
Still knowing you are there
I cannot bare to look your way
A moment we can't share

I feel your stare as you walk by
I hide my adoration
But when you're gone I softly sigh
Consumed by my temptation
