In your

words I

have come

to embrace you.

in your shadows

and in your

light.

your poems

feel like

warm slippers

upon my feet.

comfortable and

full of conscience

like a

break in

an ocean's wave

or a hug

from an old

friend when

you most

needed it.

and open are

your eyes

to the world

and open is

your heart

to those

of us here,

who reach out

to drink more

of you,

like a fine wine

slipping smooth

and easy

down my

.parched old

throat.

I could

live my

life drunk

on you.

and still

I would

still be

wanting more.

like an

old pirate

on high

seas dancing,

still I

would be

wanting more.
