Poems
Feb 2019
The moment of a open heart/ the nowhere poems
this time,
like old
clothing
that no
longer
fits.
or a
last breath
from a
martyrs
mouth.
there is
love for
you.
encouragement
of saints.
and you
have made
a difference
in me,
like a hot
desert wind
to the
sandstone
in a
canyon's
calico
wall.
over time
under you.
and I am
the better
for it.
and you
called me
to look
at myself.
you made
me stand up
naked
unafraid.
and you
loved me.
without
doubt.
bathed in
the tears of
our joy.
and in
a moment's
christening
God gave
me
you.
