you
You pulled the trigger and you were gone
I was yours and you were mine
Our son so young at the time

You said they would take care of me when you were gone
Oh if you had only known that you were wrong

You untied our knot
My life unraveled from the top
Everyone leaving left and right

My son torn from me by those you had trusted
My feet at the edge of the overpass

I woke up a long time later
I put my life back together

I tried to hold onto your memory
Everyone says that you have left me
Everyone says that you aren't worth the thought

I still remember you

You pulled the trigger and you were gone
My son is also, forever, gone
My old life is, forever, gone
So much is, forever, gone

You pulled the trigger and you were gone
