Feb 2019
I drank the last drop
From my wine glass
Then watched it fill with tears
Of memories passed

I took a lighter to those tears
And watched them burn
Like the bridges I've made
And the lessons I've learned

Then I cleaned up the mess
Took a shower, dried off
Put on my favourite dress
Some mascara and lip gloss

Without a care in the world
I danced the night away
Cause the best lesson, I remind myself
Is tomorrow is a brand new day
