Baited breath
And wet nose
Loving heart
And furry toes

Barks so loud
And droopy chin
Soulful eyes
And loving kin

My dogs are here
And getting older
Just as I am
Only they’re much bolder

They sniff back sides
And jump up high
Sleep on their backs
And bark good bye
