E’en Then may it be

that in the end I am set free

From all man’s schemes and dark desires

His rotten crypts and black walled towers

The very ones that compose my heart

My body, soul and inmost parts

I hope for this because I know

A light will come that no star shows

No sun or moon in a receding sky

And then on Him I’ll lay my eyes

The Word that was and has at last

Returned and held His promise fast

To cleanse the Earth and make it new

To rule on high and to imbue

His Spirit once more forever to be

Within our hearts eternally
