When you are in love with someone but you are miles apart.......your life is like broken glass and you search for the button that says restart
When you feel this love you will know .........because if you lose it boy does it show
There may be pieces that you never find again.....with this one piece I was the happiest I have ever been
Just like broken glass ..........you may just be put out like the trash
With this it has inspired me...........it is the love which is in my heart deep inside can't you see
Life has been unkind at times........so I play the songs and create my rhymes ......the love I hold within my soul......for her is which I lose control
If the pieces fall and continue to break......it could break your heart and be more than you can take
The pieces of broken glass that are actually pieces of my heart........as I pick then up I will believe in my hopes and my dreams......that one ending is really not what it seems
From the pieces of broken glass I hope she sees that deep in my heart.......that the love for her will always live and always has right from the start
When this story is rewritten which it will.....it will touch your heart ..like it does mine...........and if the glass does break hopefully it will all end up working out just fine.
