Dec 2018
In the quiet morning
There was much despair

I now feel it too
In the American air

War and ignorance
Here and over there

Is this then who we are?
People who cannot care

Iā€™m grateful for the good
Love music, movies, and sports

But the politics I hate
And the arrogant ******* retorts

Iā€™d like to travel again
India, Venice, Istanbul

Wander this wayfairing world
Leave when Iā€™m sated and full

Gaze into the Great Beyond
Enter the starry soulsky

Kiss my three beautiful boys
Venture forth boldly and die!
