unspoken words
are black smoke
spreading slowly through your body,
filling up every inch of you
until it’s hard to breathe.
it looks for a way out,
and when it doesn’t find one,
it seeps, stains,
and destroys
everything inside of you,
bit by bit
until you are reduced to ashes.
