I feel no butterflies
when I am around you.
I don't feel them flutter by
when I look you through.
My words are not slurred
and my legs do not shake.
My vision is not blurred
and my hands do not quake.
I've never felt attracted
but you never have not.
Are you just addicted
or do you give some thought?
People say we're meant to be
but I've never seen it that way.
Why can I not see
but I just push it away?
Can love not be a feeling
but something more profound?
Are you worth keeping
even if we stay on the ground?
What do you poets think? Can you have a romantic relationship with someone you don't feel attracted to like that, but you know if you're together it will be a good relationship?
