my illusions

create gods...

which beget gods.

they keep steeling

one another's thunder.

never was there such

bold-faced entitlement.

silvery sworded severances

charge the air...hand to

hand clashes trying to

advance on cloudy territory.

it's too electric, and appetites

too whet...illusion's gonna

go.

i/they can taste it.
