I look at my reflection
The sting of rejection
I let down
My protection

I let them in
They see my sin
They see my burning
How I was turning

Caring became scaring
They started boring and snoring till morning
Exploring ignoring
Fleeing feeling
Leaving meaning

They held their vanity
While I lost my sanity
Losing reality
I needed protections gravity

I found my beat
Brought the heat
My heart feat
Repeat

Don't let them near your body
The king you have to embody
I became weary
Making me a fiery
A deadly enemy
A heavenly symphony

Put on your protection
Fight their expectation
An explosion
Of ocean
