Was the smile I saw from the beginning
never saw nothing but a grateful heart
a love, forgiveness, without a thought
just a laugh that echoed across
the valley green.

A special glow you carried deep
never saw a light caressing
those, who knew and loved
you well.

Your eyes were open pools of
blue, capturing those who
gazed deep into your soul.

Never saw a soul so bright, only
light blinded my awareness of
God's sweet love you carried
in your heart.

Their will never be another you
your glow of confidence, light
and love, shall go where ever you roam
in this world and after.
