I don't see much evidence
of the one they call his eminence,
perhaps I am blind to the faith.

And yet the truth is nearer to me
in the wonders of natural beauty
so
why deny?

maybe
genetically
I'm wired up to the wrong strand.

I
hope so
at least I can then understand that some brickbat
with a party hat on
got me wrong and kept me in the dark.
