If I hate myself in the morning.
It must have been from something I did last night.
And the memory won't fade.
It's haunting me the next day.

Just what it was?
That tears at me.
What did I do?
To still see this image of you.
Did I kiss you?
Did I hurt you?
Did I say I love you.

Well, whatever it was?
It's on my mind at this moment.
So if I hate myself in the morning.
I must have enjoyed it last night.
