Sleep, sweet child
and dream of tomorrow
dream of the future
think not of sorrow
picture the joy
you'll feel everyday
when you do what you love
and let come what may

Sleep, sweet child
slumber so sound
let troubles nor worries
weigh yourself down
but soothe yourself
calm all your dread
dream of tomorrow
of happiness, success
dream of your future
relax and rest

Sleep, sweet child
just close your eyes
and no one will fool you
with a clever disguise
go to lands that
you may never see
travel in dreams
be wild and free
