He’s a man of good character
It’s presumed by most,
But aren’t they forgetting
How he lied under oath?
While being confirmed
For his present position
He prevaricated
Which was an imposition

It’s been 36 years
Just to be fair,
And now he’s denying
Ever being there
Others might recall
Who are more aware
Of those who attended
Hope he believe in prayer!

Now what about
The committee’s questions
That he refused to answer?
Proving himself to be,
Quite an artful dancer
Present allegations
Are spreading like cancer
When will we find a truth advancer

They seem in a rush
To confirm
Someone who might be
Slippery as worm
Though the jury is still out
On him I have concern
That we the people
Not get burned
