Seasons Of My Life
How can I become an autumn when my grief has yet to shed its leafs?
I suffer through the heated
summer of my pain,
eager for winter
to break the fever.
Oh life, how I strive to please you,
sadly you are not too pleased
with my lack of measure.
I am stuck in between
pain and stress,
being squeezed
slowly by its movement.
Donβt feel sorry for me,
instead enjoy what you have.
If anything you should
be motivated to do your best.
