Paradox
Close your eyes,
Thoughts
Passing in-and-out----
All the time...
Singing songs
Of many genres.
I think I've
Heard this one
Before,
And the rain
Gently taps
On the windowsill,
And leaves on trees
Whisper-
Sleep please.
The mind playing
Tricks,
With each paradox.
My finger circling,
A square box.
Always
An illusion,
On the outside.
Contradicting
On the inside...
Are our lives,
Sometimes.
They play constantly,
Until drained
And empty.
Diving into
Dark blue waters,
Waves
Overcoming
The undertow,
Pulling and pulling.
It's all in...
What you believe.
