Tuyo - my translation
I'm the fire that
burns through your skin
I'm the water that
quenches your thirst.
The castle, the tower...
I am the sword that
watches your back
You, the air
that I breathe and
the light of the moon
on the sea
The neck I long to kiss
So much that I fear
I'm drowning in bliss
And which wishes
will you grant me?....
Ooohhh..you say,
"my treasured jewel,
you have only to look
and yours it will be...
yours it will be"
© Rodrigo Amarante ....translated by ANu poet
