Pull My Strings
pull my strings
keep me from floating away
not sure if you can hear me
but my heart has something to say
i’m not asking for everything
i just need a piece of you
your love, your laugh
anything i can cling to
i’ve been hanging by a thread
hurry, reach out your hand
it’s a long fall beneath me
nowhere a safe place to land
lead me through the darkness
push me into the light
find me before i lose myself
gone in the dead of the night
hold me in your arms
please don’t let me go
if i don’t have you today
you won’t have me tomorrow
