Before my heart in its muti-faceted inkings
would calmly agree to settle down
I'd have to tame my feelings
my emotions shouldn't be allowed to astound-

living well is the hardest and most protracted art
we are tested at life's every tortuous round
I should learn to come to grips with every part
that makes me what I am to stand unfazed on secure ground.
