Meaningless Journey
Into the cold
into the wind
walking through the world of untold
mirrored by a forgotten soul.
Finding self
through lifeβs work
to be told
you need to unfold.
Into the heat
into the storm
discovering why life is old
cracking skin
revealing life
trying to stay within.
Wafer thin
eyes trying to fold
delicate
fragile
the storm trying to win.
Life moving on
leaving behind the weak
who have done nothing wrong
a journey of forgetful song.
Into the cold
into the storm
a universe filled withβ¦
Left the poem open ended to give the reader a thought of 'What next'
