When I saw the sunrise,
the heat of me had killed
my soul~

When I saw the rose.
the beauty had just
wilted and died~

When I closed the door,
it was to say good-bye
to a love to great
to talk about~

When I saw the sunset,
my mind had almost
gave up a life worth
living~

When I saw the moon glow
in the evening light,
I closed my eyes
and said a prayer~

But when I saw the stars
sparkling so bright
I brightened up, and
forgot all the pain
I felt inside~
