It was your proud Machiavellian choice then
others you chose all-out to destroy
they wereΒ Β in truth good women and men
but your cruelty and malice on them you did deploy--

how you, every moment in ill-begotten victorious mood
laughed, danced, self-praised and in others' plight did enjoy
but Fate furtively noted the venom you callously did protrude
and broke you into pieces and discarded you as a useless toy!
* true to life, to the very bone of things.  So few are immune to the machinations of some cruel, mindless and inhuman beings who in the end bring about their own destruction.
