Ode to Anxiety
Breaking free from all that I've chained myself to
You have left me here
But I've chosen to stay
When will the day come where
I myself am not a slave anymore?
Not to you, not to me, but the anxiety
Deep inside of me
I am tired of waiting for the fear to pass
I will continue to run and run to my own
Dignity at last.
Personal, current feeling.
