She lost her way one night
wishing on a star so bright
when the night was misty black
in the warmth of summer time..

The stars had lost there glow
the moon forsaking her every
mood, she forgot to speak her
mind, to say, she hurt through
and through..

The brightness of her smile was gone
in that night so misty black, she told
herself she did not care, for her
lover had disappeared..

Longing for her love so dear
she ran away so far to care
when the ship of love appeared
they could not find her any
where, she had wandered
to far to care..
