I come from my own fathers values
I have tried to be every inch the man
The very true soul before days of old
In life every possible way that I can

He once said to me out of all things
That there are that exist in this life
You my son are one thing reliable
Forever from  heaven to hells strife

A real friend of yours can rely upon you
Be they married hurt you ignore you too
Turn their back later in time up the track
When they need a friend you'll be there true

And he was right be it day be it at night
Forever means to me forever its so true
Regardless of what forever means forever
A real friend can count on that life through

In a hundred yeears from happiness to tears
They can always say I got a real true friend
Does'nt matter where you are near or far
Friendship to me is to give forever not to lend

Simply that forever reliable as my farther said
Forever is forever in time priceless and divine
One true friend can engrave that on their heart
A real true friend to me forever in life and time
