Too many years
Too many tears
Too many nights she was alone
Waiting and wishing
Hoping and dreaming
He would come β€˜round

He felt the same
But he was resolute
Where was the girl for him?
He waited and wished
Hoped and dreamed
She would come β€˜round

One night it happened
A stroke of luck
They were at the valet
A casual conversation
An info exchange
Cut to the next day

A tete a tete
Then more than that
A tentative then emboldened embrace
A spark then a fire
Commitment met desire
Cut to today

No more loneliness
Just a bright light
Love heard their call
After too many years
Too many tears
They now have it all
