Cut to Today
Too many years
Too many tears
Too many nights she was alone
Waiting and wishing
Hoping and dreaming
He would come βround
He felt the same
But he was resolute
Where was the girl for him?
He waited and wished
Hoped and dreamed
She would come βround
One night it happened
A stroke of luck
They were at the valet
A casual conversation
An info exchange
Cut to the next day
A tete a tete
Then more than that
A tentative then emboldened embrace
A spark then a fire
Commitment met desire
Cut to today
No more loneliness
Just a bright light
Love heard their call
After too many years
Too many tears
They now have it all
