Oh don’t you stare
At that raven black hair

The twinkle in your eyes
Reaps of its own demise

That glimmer
Is a faint smile

Hiding behind
Hindered lies

You can’t seem to find
The hope that’s buried inside
The faith
That keeps you alive

You try and you try
Hesitation
It dies

But you can’t seem to face
That one day soon
You too will be a waste
