Away out in a bush camp once
Sitting around the fire
Girls and boys and a few helpers
Singing country songs like a quire

One young guy asked if I knew the answer
Due to something just then said
Are boys born smarter than girls he asked
I smiled and shook my head

Well if I was to tell you son
I do not think you'd believe me anyway
He said yes I would as he played with wood
So tell me anyway

Well I said .. The truth is a little damaging
To guys who do not know
But the real truth is I just wish they knew
Life would be easier on any day

If you get a girl and a boy of both twenty years
You will it is true always find it's true
The guy is twenty going on seventeen
The girl twenty going on thirty two

Girls know where boys are coming from
Long before they even get off the but it's so
And that's the way boys and girls are born
So son you asked so now you know.
