We at any age through life sometimes
Have a feeling we know all to know
Not stopping to think length of a wink
We have ever so far yet to go ..

Never been in a gym but worked hard always
And at my age of 76 still as fit as any my age
But I never use the word believe only I know
We never stop learning until life's last page

If I told of lives I've saved things I've done
Experiences I've had people I've met in life
You''d say He's read way too many books
To comprehend it all you'd be in strife

But one day at a time I lived this life of mine
All my poetry would tell of my life's history
I'm here to learn as my life's candles burn
After all said and done I am only simply me
