Before our hatred
Lies a deeper meaning
within ourselves
What can we forget
That hasn't been forgotten
How many times must we be
A blind witness to oppression

Here we are
Still in agony
Hoping Tomorrow
Will change
Yet we face today
with no desire to
break free

Our existence is like the weeds
That grow out of the ground
Our splendour dispersed
Along the fields of tragedy
