We hid away,
Above, the world was desecrated and destroyed,
Secrets placed upon us,
Tainted our minds and bodies,
Eminent failure happened to many of us.

Lucky few escaped,
Adapted to survive the poisoned surface,
Never looking back,
Dared to live another day.
