Longing for the moonlight
Waiting for the sun
Stuck between state lines
Here you’ll forgive your thoughts now
When I’ll become a forgotten thought now
Are you sure you that you called?
I don’t know, my phone must’ve not have gotten the memo
Dear, I wouldn’t bet your heart down
It’s clear you couldn’t get your head around
Was it just that? Faded after all
I’ve been awake in every state line
Dying to make it last us a life time
Trying to shake that we’re on an incline
I’d be yours in a landslide
