Even though we know
You’re a zero
Tell us how do you
Spell hero
If not what James Shaw did
In that Waffle place
Why don’t you
Make better case

He wrestled a gun
From the hand
Of an active shooter
Don’t cha understand?
Or did you calculate
That he’s black
Don’t let that
Color how you react

Your Twitter feed
Has been silent
When it comes to Shaw
Who stopped the violence
You can’t find
A thing to say
Because your bias
Gets in the way

So when it comes
To a true American hero
You just fiddle
Like a modern day Nero
And let his heroism
Pass you by
Though it’s a salient fact
You can’t deny
