upright, red, defiant.

the glow is muted,
inhuman    /.
       the garden
is tired; it asks for
forgiveness.

the leaves disperse—
frightened./
       the valleys crawl into the sky.

you’re/     like a dusty,
aeroplane
window: i see home falling
away
       away
              away)
