It’s the last day of summer
We now have to say goodbye
Autumn creeps in so quietly
Taking us by surprise

A new chill in the air
Cooler days and cooler nights ahead
As the sun goes to bed early
The dawn breaks thru the darkness
To give us light for the day

Crisp cool autumn
So celebrate the last day of summer
Welcome Autumn today
You can still
Continue wishing
Summer has not gone away
