We're in the right position,
not too close to burn right up;
enough oxygen to sustain life,
sweet, the wine, from God's cup!

So sweet, the taste of love
from brimming hearts,
sunshine from above,
from which we all are parts.

The seasons bring variety,
in so many different ways;
as the earth turns in silence,
like half-forgotten plays.

The music that we hear,
the visions that we see;
made for eye and ear,
for you alone - and me.

And if you think it chance,
then you won't ever know;
the reason why we breathe,
and why the soul does glow.
