I see him in the hall
And my heart speeds up
I don't know what to say
But I want to get to know him
He looks at me and smiles
And I get feelings I haven't felt for a while
I smile back then look I away
Can't let him know he made my day
But then my friend beside me
Tells me that she's gonna ask him out
My heart stops then shatters to the floor
I just nod and smile
Even though she knows my feelings for him
When she leaves my side
I let the tears  soak my eyes
Just one more ruined day
